Born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, in 1955, Lynn moved to the Norfolk coast at 18. Her work has ranged from sewing buttons on cardigans to working as a lab technican in an all-girls school, after gaining a BSc (Hons) with the Open University she taught Environmental Studies at outdoor centres in Norfolk.

Lynn has three Diplomas in Creative Writing and a PGC in Poetry with the UEA. As well as appearing in numerous mazazines, anthlogies and being placed in various competitions her poetry has also appeared in Poetry News, Envoi and she was Featured Poet in Orbis 151. Lynn also writes reviews for Reach poetry magazine.

Her first collection  Something and Nothing  is published by Indigo Dreams (February 2011).
